SUN TV lost something!

Is SUN TV losing it’s sheen as a creative entertainment channel? And has Start network’s VIJAY TV taken over young people’s mind?
Ok, let us look at the kind of programs SUN TV would telecast today [Tuesday]

There are approximately 17 mega serials that are being telecasted. A whopping 17 mega serials in a day! Sun TV had gained popularity (when it was launched) because of its unique quality programs which were different from Doordharsan programs. It was this spirit that helped Sun TV gain No. 1 position but look what it is doing now – it is coming out with program after program for people above 35 or 40 years! It is fine if this is want Sun TV wants to be known for!
K TV is also not a channel with creative programs – dominated by movies it is more of SUN Movies!
Sun Music – Just OK!
Whereas when we look into Star network, they are coming out with more reality shows which are appealing to all ages. Though Star Vijay takes-up everything from parent network, it is doing a good job. Its programs are gaining popularity like anything especially among young viewers and also among other age groups!
In my opinion, what happened to Doordharsan might be in the offing for Sun TV – if it doesn’t take necessary action! May be this time the fight may be fiercer! It would be interesting to watch how things proceed!
In Tamil we have a saying “Alavuku meerinal amirdhamum nanju” meaning “Too much of Amrudh can become poison”. A lesson which I want to gather is, a company could have striked success with its product, but for it to keep growing it is not supposed to exploit the same product (or formula) for a long time whereas it should be continuously innovating itself – a good example would be APPLE (not APPLE COMPUTERS any more). [MBA guys, you may relate this to STARS, COWS, DOGS & Question mark]

People the long awaited movie has finally arrived….n it has lived upto its expectations & hype.
The movie has all the ingredients – Action, graphics, love, sentiment & some good thoughts too…..
I happen to see SPIDY 3 in Tamil – it was quiet enjoyable….there was little bit of comedy too…(may be ‘coz of the vernacular language!)…for example…the Sand man makes his appearance & picks up fight with Spidy…as usual things go by & after a while spidy goes to the top of a building and makes this statement “NAMAKKUNNU PUDUSU PUDUSU KALAMBI VARANGGAPPA….” since it was in tamil – the whole theatre roared with laughter…. 
Overall the movie is a feast for eyes & there is some food for thought also….
One final word, for the sequel they hav planted the seeds well….yes Dr Scott (hope I got the name correct)…the one hand Prof cum doc for spidy….wats special….he is a lizard from within….hmmmm…..first Spider, then GOBLIN, then SAND, then VENOM & later some LIZARDS too….. ! Sounds interesting….(for kids!)
Ha….girls take some tissues too…..there r some (actually more) crying scenes….. 
Guys….help ur partners….hehe

Tamil movie industry has been coming out with really good movies and not the normal soap opera movies. Recent movies like Veyil, Mozhi are in this league.
The lead characters Jotika, Prithiviraj & Prakashraj did their work to the perfection. All aspects about this movie was great (except for some songs) and I enjoyed the Prakashraj’s comedy J
Jotika’s character is a real role model kind for any person who wants to derive confidence from within. (This was well depicted when she asks others to define what normalcy is!)
There are lot more to write about this movie but I would urge you to watch this movie – language no bar!

One of the best movies I have seen in the recent times. The concept of Gandhigiri (Ahimsa) was told in an awesome way (with loads & loads of comedy). The combo Munnabhai & Cirkit rocks!!! This movie was a welcome change to hindi movie buffs as it wasn’t the normal mundane HERO-HEROINE khahani!
Next episode of Munnabhai might be in USA. Let us see how the director takes it forward.
